In reality, biopsychology is a very broad and general term that includes everything from behavior biology to psychobiology to psychological ecology to genealogy and cross-cultural evolutionary psychology. Bioscience itself has no biological focus at all. It is all about behavior.
Biopsychology studies the behaviors of living organisms and their social interactions. A wide range of topics are included here, but most are addressed to human behavior and communication.
The use of behavior in the study of human societies is rather obvious. Without such behaviors, it would be impossible to build or design a society. Human societies have a definite pattern of behavior, which has evolved over time. Societies have organized themselves into hierarchies, and through organization and hierarchy, new behaviors have been formed.

Through this way of looking at behavior, we can tell that babies in the wild react differently to different environments. From this, we can figure out how the mind and behavior of humans and other animals are influenced by their environment. This is part of the study of biopsychology.

By looking at what genes code for, these scientists can understand the effects of those genes on behavior.
